The work of Lita Cerqueira is done in a fashion far from folkloric, having the African Brazilian descendent as a main character. Her outstanding talent puts her among the best photographers from Brazil.
She is best known by her work for movie directors Glauber Rocha, Nelson Pereira dos Santos, Julio Bressane, Neville de Almeida, Gianni D'Amico and Paulo Cesar Saraceni.
We will publish here a series of exhibits with selections of powerful images captured along twenty years of activity and struggle.
